30 year study shows social ventures more likely to survive than PLCs

From the Guardian by Abbie Rumbold, social enterprises and so-called “third sector” entities have a higher survival rate than regular companies in the UK. Much like the notion that sustainability can result in competitive advantage, it turns out a social bottom line and alternative business structure has a positive business impact as well. We know that already, but myths abound.
